Need to keep blogging and figuring this out. I love to go in and read blogs, but it is hard for me to blog. I guess I think no one really would care what I have to say. But then I guess this is just like a diary. To put my thoughts and happenings into. So that is what I will do. Right now I am Birmingham, AL on business. Been here since Wednesday and will heading back to Georgia this afternoon. I miss my hubby and my four dogs... I hear they enjoyed having my side of the bed while I have been gone. hmmmm! Hopefully, I will be let back into the house :-) Been working on feeling better. Still having medical issues that can keep me down at times. I have been working on having a better attitude with this medical condition and trying to not letting it take me to that place. I feel I have been stronger, but had a mini meltdown yesterday. Not feeling too well, and so busy at work , no lunch or breaks made a for a rough day for me. I got to learn to eat, take breaks, gets lots of rest to help me avoid these meltdowns. Have you had a meltdown lately? I think it happens to many of us? Hormones going crazy doesn't help much either. :)), Here's to a great Friday, think I will get some breakfast in me to start the day on a good note. Thanks !

Remember MLK....
I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
Martin Luther King, Jr.
How far have we come since his message? Sad that we are not further along and still people on judged by the color of their skin or the accent in their voice or their economic well being.
We are were created equal......God loves his children , red , yellow, black and white we are all precious in his sight....

Wayback Pictures

I had some fun on Facebook with wayback pictures. I think I had the most comments from the picture of my kids when they were little. What fun, to hear from all of my kids and their kids laughing and having fun with the picture. You know what they haven't changed a bit. This is my wayback picture. I was around 7 years old. I remember my Mother cutting my bangs. She tried to use tape to get a straight line. Yes, she taped my bangs to my forehead to cut them. As you can see by the picture that didn't work too well. I remember when she brought home this pink plastic half tube head band that fit on your head to cut bangs..... didn't work either. It wasn't till I was around 12 years old that I finally said, "I don't want bangs anymore Mom" :-) Not sure who was the happiest with that statement, me or my Mom. But it left a memory with me forever. I still don't wear bangs , but I cherish my Mom's memories.

2010 Wish list,

I found it, my car! My new super duper, fly over Atlanta traffic car. It is 2010, I should be able to find this car by now right? What is Ford, Chevy, BMW, Lexus thinking? This is the car we should be driving now. Although, have you driven in Atlanta traffic lately, some drivers think their cars fly..... hmmm! I wish that everything on your 2010 Wish/Dream list comes true!

Need for a Mud Room!

It has been so rainy in Georgia that our backyard has not dried out since August! The 4 dogs know they need to sit when they come in to get their paws wiped, but sometimes they take off and there is mud everywhere! The hardwood floors shine with muddy paws prints! Looks like I stenciled the floors! :-) You got to love winter. It has also been very cold lately..... I thought moving South 10 years ago would prevent bone chilling weather, but not today! It was very cold walking dogs today, two pairs of glove, big coat, scarf, tons of layers. I look like I live in Alaska! Our Saint Bernard loves this weather, he is in his element. He lives for bone chilling weather! There is even snow in our forecast, maybe Thursday... If you know anything about the South, just the hint of possible snow clears the shelves of all Milk, Bread and Beer. I would love for our dogs to play in the snow and the city will shut down if it does so NO Work ! I feel like a kid when there is no school because of snow. Keeping my fingers crossed! Well looking at some pictures of mud rooms I came across one I really liked. If I had room to make a Mud Room it would be great for our 4 dogs to clean up before the paw hits the hardwood floor....
